Amazon SimplePay Payment Gateway

The Amazon payment gateway can be enabled to use Amazon SimplePay as your payment processor. The gateway supports the following features:

Configuration

The gateway is configured by editing it in the plugin's “Payment Gateways” administrative option.

Your Production Secret KeyEnter the secret key for your production account
Your Test (Sandbox) Access KeyEnter the access key for your test seller's account
Your Test (Sandbox) Secret Key
Amazon Url - ProductionEnter the URL to the production payment processor
Amazon Url - SandboxEnter the URL to the test payment processor
Testing (Sandbox) Mode?Check this box to use the test url and credentials, leave it unchecked for production
EnabledCheck this box to enable the gateway. If left unchecked, Amazon will not be available as a payment method
ButtonsCheck the box next to the button types that this gateway will handle. The options are “Buy Now” and “Donate”, and either, both or none may be selected.
OrderEnter an integer to set the order. This is the order in which buttons will be displayed when multiple gateways are used.

Bad Behaviour plugin

The Amazon SimplePay plugin is not compatible with Bad Behaviour. You must disable the Bad Behaviour plugin to use this gateway.

Known Issues

  1. This gateway does not support shipping, handling, or tax charges. This gateway can handle physical products and will collect the shipping address for any physical product sold, but cannot charge the customer additional fees. If you have any products which need these functions, then the Amazon SimplePay gateway should be disabled.
